General Terms & Conditions

Terms of Agreement

​

  • Full payment must be received before we confirm your booking, once we have received your booking it forms a binding contract between us.

  • If for any reason we are not able to honour your booking through circumstances beyond our control and we make a cancellation, we will offer you an alternative date for your booking. 

  • If you cannot complete your stay or booking for any reason other than outlined above, no refunds will be given. This includes inclement weather, illness and being asked to leave due to anti-social behaviour (e.g. excessive noise or being abusive to other customers or staff).

  • We cannot accept any responsibility for loss of or damage to goods or injury or death to persons, to the extent that such liability can be lawfully excluded. Vehicles, bicycles, boats, canoes and any other vehicle, (motorised or not) together with their contents and any accessories are left at your own risk. We take reasonable precautions to avoid such incidents and we expect you to do the same.

  • Health and safety: We provide a moorings service only. Health and safety of customers is the responsibility of the customer.

  • In the event of a complaint, please notify the office (01603 270 280) so this can be resolved at the time. It is much harder to resolve a problem after the event and we cannot be held liable for this.

  • We love dogs at Ranworth and we don’t mind dogs being let off their lead (if they can be trusted). All dog mess must be cleared up, we’re happy for you to throw dog mess into the bushes off pedestrian paths, but if you use a poo bag, please take it away with you.

  • Bookings are non transferable.

Island Mooring Bookings

​

  • We are a tent only site, no campervans or caravans are permitted. 1 tent per pitch.

  • There is no drinking water available on the site.

  • There is no hot water, sinks, or showers on site.

  • There are no toilet facilities on the site.

  • We operate a leave no trace policy. Please take all your rubbish away with you.

  • Dogs are welcome on the site.

  • You may bring your own BBQ, but it must be raised off the ground to avoid burning / charring the grass.

  • Ranworth Broad offers peace and tranquility, therefore we do not allow amplified music.

  • Generators and drones are not permitted.

  • Swimming is not permitted in Ranworth Broad.

Cancellation policy

​

  • Full payment is taken at the time of booking and if cancelled 15 days or more before the arrival date, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.

  • For any cancellations made 14 days or less, no refund will be made.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not made for inclement weather.

  • We do not use 3rd party websites and do not take any responsibility for bookings made through 3rd party websites.
